The Company Adds to Exec Team
C21 MEDIA — Fledgling US production studio The Company (THE) has added two new senior executives to its team.
Tony Testa will be VP of production and Fairouz El-Baz VP of operations at the company, which was launched in LA in November by entertainment industry veteran Justin Hochberg and TV and film producer Charlie Ebersol.
Testa will manage all aspects of THE’s pre-production, production and post-production activity, having worked with the firm on its recent shows NFL Characters Unite and Off the Grid, which air on USA Network and History Channel respectively.
With over 17 years of experience in reality, variety, scripted and features, his credits include The Bachelor: After the Final Rose for ABC and live shows Backyard BBQ for VH1 and Ultimate Parkour Challenge for MTV.
In her new role, El-Baz will be responsible for overall business development and operations, as well as production of several series, pilots and specials.
El-Baz previously worked with Charlie Ebersol as a producer on NBC’s The Wanted. She began her career in the production business at E! Entertainment in 2006.
Upcoming THE productions include reality series The Moment and The Great Escape, which will air on USA and TNT respectively in the next six months.
